Progress II

Late May is taking a little longer to come than I expected this year. My partner in the CD just quit one day with no notice.

More pictures soon. I have taken hundreds since my last posting.

Progress of the CD

The CD is expected to be done late in May. I will try to post more information as there is time.

Marketing

At the moment, the CD will be sold at the bookshop for the Historical Museum in Los Alamos, probably across New Mexico and at Atomic Energy sites.

Are these good choices? Are there more choices that would be good?

Working title

The working title of the CD is "Los Alamos Through Time: A Visual Journey".

Is this an appealing title?

I like the picture and the flower. The picture is part of a series on Los Alamos without the influence of humans.

Can anyone tell me what the flower is?

CD on Los Alamos

The current design of the CD is to have pictures in nearly chr0nological order starting with images suggesting the Pajarito plateau before human settlement, extending through farming on the mesa and the Manhattan project, and ending up with images from today.

I would appreciate comments on the tempo of how this story should be presented.

The CD

This web site has two purposes - to show some nice photographs and to get input towards making a CD about Los Alamos. I would appreciate feedback on both topics.

The process

A first project

I am trying to complete a CD of photographs for the Los Alamos Historical Society. I plan to post some of the photos here. Make comments. I would like the CD, to be completed within a month, to be really good. A little help would make it so.

A start

This blog will be about photographs of Los Alamos and the area around it.
